Our Story
How it Began
Matt and Daniel met shortly after graduating from High School in Richardson, Texas circa 2001. Through a mutual love of sports, music and travel, the two forged a long lasting friendship. Today Matt resides in Baton Rouge Louisiana with his Wife Jenn, while Daniel calls Prosper Texas home, always to be found with his two daughters and Wife close by.

Acadian Lore was born from a love of the State of Louisiana. The culture, the food and the people are what makes this place so special. Both Matt and Daniel have homes there, as well as relatives all throughout the state. Our process includes a careful selection of many different barrels from many different distilleries. We then take our time in discovering the perfect finishing barrels and blends to achieve a product that the state of Louisiana can be proud of.
Mission
When we created this brand we wanted to do something that spoke to people on many different fronts. Creating good whiskey was obviously the first goal, however being able to connect with those who drink our whiskey was equally important.

Lore represents the past, present and future. Our motto, What's Your Lore, is meant to draw out more than just how the drink in your hand tastes. Who are you enjoying it with , where are you enjoying it, what were you celebrating? Questions like this build your story, and that story is passed on for years to come. So as you enjoy each sip think to yourself, what do you want your lore to tell about you?
